I will not be returning to them for as much as a shoelace. I should have taken the time to read all the negative reviews before choosing this branch. I took in a single white leather Puma sneaker to have loose stitching on the tip of the shoe repaired. Instead of white, brown thread was used to do the stitching (yes, brown thread on a white leather sneaker) and the excess glue (yellow contact adhesive) was not even wiped off (I was unable to upload the pics that I took to illustrate my point). I also took in two leather belts to have extra holes punched - well, I could have done a better job with a carpet knife. There seems to be no pride in the work done - this is sloppy workmanship that I call "box checking". I will now have to incure additional expense (time more so than money) to have this done properly in Cape Town CBD as I do not trust Barksole Edgemead enough to rectify this stuff-up... cont... I was contacted by the owner shortly after posting this review to apologise and requested the opportunity to make right. The three items were collected shortly thereafter and returned a few days later - fixed as good they could. This I appreciated...

Dishonest about the job they will do and charge you even when it wasn't what you asked for. On top of that it took a month longer than it should have because they forgot to send it to the factory.
